Markus Schleinzer

Markus Schleinzer is an Austrian filmmaker who previously spent 17 years working as a casting director for directors such as Michael Haneke, Ulrich Seidl, and Jessica Hausner. His debut feature, Michael (2011), competed for the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival, while his second feature, Angelo (2018), premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.
