Synopsis

Seven-year-old Piku is fascinated by her grandfather’s wooden armchair. Comfortable and inviting, it is always occupied by a cold, distant man who cares only about himself. She dreams of sitting in it, just like him. After an unsuccessful attempt, Piku plots her revenge.

Triparna Maiti Triparna MaitiTriparna Maiti is an animation filmmaker and educator based in Kolkata, trained at SRFTI. Her short Water has screened at numerous festivals, and her debut animated feature, currently in development, was selected for the NFDC Screenwriters Lab 2024.
